SafeSport Requirements for Players 18 and over:
A friendly reminder of the requirement for players 18 years of age and older on youth teams to complete SafeSport training. This is a part of the federal legislation known as the Safe Sport Authorization Act.
Required Training:
• Players can NOT take the training PRIOR to their 18th birthday.
• Players MUST take the training within 30 days of their 18th birthday
• There is no substitute for this requirement. SafeSport training will be the only accepted training module to fulfill this requirement for our 18-year-old players on youth teams.
If an 18-year-old player is found to NOT have completed the required training, his/her player pass will be suspended indefinitely (current and all future seasonal years) and only reinstated upon completion of SafeSport.
