2020 BENSC Winter Academy

The BENSC welcomes our campers to the 2020 Winter Academy.

BENSC's 2020 Winter Academy is open to any player 7U through 16U who would like to improve in the technical aspect of the game. Director of Coaching Development, Ed Anibal; Director of Player Development, Jeremiah Harder; Technical Director/Developmental Age Groups Alex Saunders, and others will lead all sessions.

This year’s academy will focus on: 

   * improved footwork: dribbling, running with the ball, turning,

      juggling, etc.

   * Passing and receiving

   * Off the ball movement

   * Trapping, shielding, and defending

   * Ball control


What to bring to Winter Academy:

All players should wear shorts, tshirt, shin guards under their soccer socks, and indoor soccer shoes/tennis shoes.  Please bring a water bottle and ball to each session.

BENSC Winter Academy will be held at Bennington Elementary School and Anchor Pointe Elementary School on Saturday mornings. Boys and girls who participate in the BENSC Winter Academy will train together and be matched with like skilled/sized players as determined by camp instructors.

Location: Anchor Pointe Elementary Gym
Birth Years 2012 (8U) & 2013 (7U) - 9:00-9:50AM 
Birth Years 2010 (10U) & 2011 (9U) - 10:00-10:50AM

Location: Bennington Elementary Gym
Birth Years 2008 (12U) & 2009 (11U) - 9:00-10:20AM 
Birth Years 2004 - 2007 (13U-16U) - 10:30AM-12:00PM 

Developmental Age Group:  

A free training session will be offered for the developmental age group during the winter break. Registration, location, date, and time will be communicated through the BENSC website/Facebook and email.


Training Dates:   

January - 18th, 25th 

February- 1st, 8th, 15th          


Cost: $60

Effective 12/4/19, Sports Connect will charge a $3.00 transaction fee on all registration orders.
