Coach / Assistant Coach
Coaches create a positive learning environment teaching sportsmanship, fundamental skills, teamwork and responsibility. Pre-season coaching clinics are offered each season. No experience necessary except the enthusiasm and patience to work with kids. Coaches are provided continuous support through associations the Nebraska State Soccer Association and metro area college coaches.
Volunteer coaches are the backbone of youth sports. Without parents volunteering their time the youth sports world would come to a halt. Please consider giving your time.
Serve as a communication and organizational link between the board and the club. Coordinators aid in recruiting coaches, creating teams and are on the field as a club representative during practices and games. Division coordinators are assigned according to the division their child is playing in. No soccer experience necessary.
To keep costs low for our players BSC looks to sponsors, donations and fundraisings. Volunteers needed to recruit sponsorship dollars or create fundraising opportunities. No soccer experience necessary. Involvement can be as little as checking to see if you company sponsors youth sports to setting up a Fundraising night with a local restaurant.
Annually BSC hosts a free picnic for all players at John Bohn Park. Volunteers needed to organize, set up, serve and clean up. Minimal time commitment and no soccer experience needed.
Bennington Daze Parade
The Bennington Daze Parade is hosted by the Bennington Jaycees during the month of June. Volunteers needed to organize BSC’s participation in the club.
Variety positions on the board; President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Registrar, Secretary. Board members handle many of the behind the scene duties required to keep the organization progressing. Board meetings are open to the public.
